Weddings

To make your Wedding individually memorable, music can be selected according to your taste and requirements, reflecting the mood you desire: every effort will be made to accommodate any special musical requests you have.

Rebeca is happy to suggest repertoire and assist with your choice; this may be done over the telephone or in person – you are welcome to visit Rebeca at home, to listen live and select your Ceremony music.

Thank you again for your beautiful playing . . . Our guests commented on the wonderful harpist with the superb repertoire, and your involvement helped make the ceremony and drinks reception particularly memorable, so thank you very much.

Thank you again for playing at our wedding . . . arriving to find everyone settled in, and hearing your playing in the background, was one of the highlights of the day - we had a great time and thank you so much for adding to the occasion.

Thank you so much for your amazing performance at our wedding - all the guests commented how great you are! From the initial easy booking process, the demo CD sent in the post, and the quick and consistent communications right up until the wedding day, you made the whole process stress-free - much appreciated! We can’t thank you enough, and would highly recommend you to anyone wanting a professional harp performer at a reasonable cost, and with little worry about it all working out as planned.

Rebeca Jones - harp playing for your wedding

The Ceremony

The romantic sound of harp music as guests are seated, and during the signing of the register, can be a welcome contrast to the hymns and the organ, at a religious service. At a civil ceremony or civil partnership, live music will add to the occasion and accompany the intimate proceedings. Whilst the music may not contain any religious element, you may wish to retain a more traditional theme, combine classical with celtic, or include love songs which have special meaning.

Music is appropriate as your guests are seated, for the entrance of the Bride, during the signing of the Register and at the end of the ceremony. Selecting music to accompany a Humanist Ceremony will enhance your individual tastes, and traditional music performed on the harp at a Jewish Blessing will add to the proceedings under the Chuppa.

Drinks Reception

As your friends and family enjoy your hospitality; what better way to create a social ambience, than with harp music. You can rest assured that guests are being entertained while the official photographs are being taken.

Wedding Breakfast

Background music during the meal will ensure a good atmosphere whilst you are being served and as you enjoy the occasion, before the speeches.

Thank you so much for playing so beautifully at our wedding. I also really appreciated your calming words beforehand, and your reassurance that I could take as long as I wanted to walk into the room and down the aisle. I definitely took advantage of that, as I needed a few moments to gather myself before entering! It was a true luxury as a bride to be able to have a harpist, and I’m so glad we found you.
